Day 1

San Jose: Arrive

Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival at the airport, your driver will be waiting to take you to your centrally located hotel.
Day 2

La Fortuna: Arenal Volcano

Enjoy the countryside views on your way to La Fortuna. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon exploration of the town, or optional activity.

Day 3

La Fortuna: Arenal Volcano

La Fortuna is known as the epi-centre of adventure, and also home to lush rainforests and therapeutic hot springs. There is something for adrenaline-junkies, nature-lovers and water-babies alike. Don’t miss your chance to try waterfall jumping and rapelling, or white-water rafting if you are up for the adventure.


Day 4

Monteverde: Crossing Lake Arenal

Leave the volcano in the rear-view today as you cross Lake Arenal and make your way up the green mountain to Monteverde. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon exploration of the town, or optional activity. After a relaxing afternoon, an exciting expedition through the nocturnal forest awaits you. Listen to the sounds of the cloud-forest come to live at night as your guide spots interesting creatures who only come out at night.
Day 5

Monteverde: Cloud-Forest

Monteverde is a beautiful chilled mountain town right in the centre of the continental divide, making it a nature-loves haven. Enjoy a free day on hiking trails inside protected nature reserves, or on Costa Rica’s best quad-biking and horseback riding trails just outside of town, and lets not forget Monteverde is also home to Latin America’s longest zipline and biggest bungee.
Day 6

Quepos: Manuel Antonio

Head down the mountain and continue on beautiful coast-line all the way to Manuel Antonio, home to one of Costa Rica’s best national parks and top ten beaches.
Day 7

Quepos: Manuel Antonio

Meet your naturlist guide and head into the park early this morning for your best chance to spot wildlife like the elusive squirrel monkey only found in Manuel Antonio. In the afternoon enjoy beautiful beaches or optional activities like surfing, horse-back riding or whale-watching (Aug-Dec.).
Day 8

San Jose: Return

After a relaxing morning head back to San Jose to your centrally-located hotel for one last holiday meal before departure tomorrow.
Day 9

San Jose: Departure

Time to start planning your next trip back to Costa Rica. Departure transfer is included.
